Batam, Bintan,and Karimun (BBK), located  an hour from Singapore,are Free Trade Zones in the  Riau  Islands  Province, home to 1.6 million people and contributing 73% of the province’s economy.  Key  sectors  include manufacturing, digital economy,and MRO,with  SEZs  like Nongsa  Digital Park and Batam Aero Technic offering tax incentives to attract MNCs.
