MICE City Ecosystems: Building Collaboration Through Information Systems – A Case Study from Thailand

A collaborative information system is developed to strengthen stakeholder coordination and support MICE city development in Surat Thani, Thailand. The system integrates data from government agencies, tourism associations, organizers, suppliers, and other stakeholders based on Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) standards. The system records high user satisfaction in accessibility, performance, usability, and reliability. MICE benefit recognition emerges as the strongest factor influencing intention to use the system, followed by trust, perceived ease of use, and perceived usefulness, while MICE knowledge has no significant effect. The system supports improved coordination, data sharing, planning, evaluation, and decision-making for MICE city development.
