Learning about Development: Reflections on Six Decades of Indonesian Economic Development

Indonesia has undergone significant socio-economic transformation over six decades, progressing from a deeply impoverished and relatively isolated economy into an upper-middle-income country. This progress has been supported by sustained economic growth, prudent macroeconomic management, moderate openness to the global economy, improvements in living standards, and greater national cohesion.
